Seaton Village Hall was handed over by the coal board to the community of Seaton and was placed in the hands of trusties to run the building as a none profitable hall. In 1975 the hall attained charitable status and has recently been updated with a new roof, kitchen, sound system, emergency exits and lights, with more work to be carried out in the coming weeks. The hall is currently maintained by the caretaker/ Administrator Michael Thompson.
