That was just one of the comments from our first Youth Safe Spaces session yesterday!

Thank you to the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner for commissioning this opportunity for young people in Wolverhampton, and to BCAP for sharing their space and facilities.

We’re here every Thursday, 4.30-6pm, for young people in Years 7-11 in Wolverhampton.
Find us at BCAP, Lawnswood Avenue, Wolverhampton, WV4 6SR.

Gaming, pool, sofas to relax and a free hot meal. Young people can stay for as long or as little as they like.

Youth Safe Spaces is coming to Wolverhampton!

Starting Thursday 1st October, NXT Pathway will be opening a FREE weekly safe space for young people aged 11–16 in the WV2, WV3 and WV4 areas.

A relaxed, welcoming place to drop in, meet others, have some fun and access support if needed, with:

Gaming | Pool | Table football | Chill-out space | FREE hot meal

Thursdays, 4:30pm–6:00pm
Black Country Alternative Provision, Lawnswood Avenue, Wolverhampton, WV4 6SR

Young people can stay for as long or as little of the session as they like.

If you know a young person who may benefit, please register them using the QR code on the flyer and order their free meal, or get in touch using the contact details provided.

And please share this post with families, schools, community groups or anyone who may know a young person who could benefit. We'd love to reach those who need the space most.

We're delighted to announce that NXT Pathway has secured support from the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner to launch our new Youth Safe Space in Wolverhampton.

Launching September 2026, this new initiative will provide a **weekly after school safe space** for young people in Years 7-11 across the WV2, WV3 and WV4 areas.

A place to:

• Connect with others
• Build confidence
• Access support
• Enjoy positive activities
• Relax, learn and grow

Young people will be able to access positive activities, make new friends, enjoy a welcoming environment and receive support when they need it.

This project is about creating opportunities, building resilience and ensuring young people have somewhere they feel safe, valued and supported.

We would like to thank the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner for supporting this important community initiative and helping us invest in local young people.

Registration of interest is now open for young people, parents/carers, schools and partner organisations.
