😥 Blinds Apology 😥
Despite the best efforts of the Hall Committee and the Community Cafe Team / Customers; the hall roof blinds are still only partially working - to prevent further damage we ask that the right hand bank (which are closed) are not used.
The attached photo shows the item that was replaced yesterday - the small black ‘connector’ (top right of the spring box) had come off the original. As a pair of these powerful springs operate the blinds it resulted in uneven forces which has caused damage to the ‘zips’ and possible motors.
This was a manufacturing defect beyond the control of our friends at Saxon Blinds.
We have arranged for them to spend next Wednesday afternoon with us to carry out the required work.
