Summer schools are fast approaching so get signed up soon.

Introducing your director for both junior and summer school, Nikki Mundell-Poole.

Nikki's passion for theatre began at an early age, having grown up in a family where performing was a way of life. She trained initially as an actress before embarking on a career in musical theatre, where she gained invaluable experience working with major Cameron Mackintosh productions, including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Cats, Oliver! and Grease.

Drawing on this wealth of professional experience, Nikki moved into directing and choreography and has spent more than 30 years working with theatre societies across Essex, earning a reputation for creating high-quality productions while nurturing performers of all ages.

A dedicated supporter of youth theatre, Nikki particularly enjoys working with the talented young performers at WOW. She has directed many of the company's productions, including Les Misérables and Beauty and the Beast, and is delighted to return to direct Footloose. She is also thrilled to once again be leading both the Junior and Senior Summer Schools this year.

Exciting news!
Introducing the first of our special guests, Harry Tunningley, who will be working with the young people during our summer schools this year.

Harry Tunningley is a musical theatre performer and teacher, originally from Essex. He trained at ArtsEd London, graduating with a degree in Musical Theatre, and has since performed professionally across the UK and Europe. His credits include dancing and covering lead roles in the Cork Opera House pantomime, and 16 months in Germany as a swing in Starlight Express das Musical, where he covered six ensemble tracks and two male leads, mastering the show’s demanding roller skating choreography. Harry is currently in The Devil Wears Prada the musical at the Dominion Theatre in the West End for one year and covering the role of Nate, the boyfriend.

Harry first found his love for performing with WAOS and WOW between 2013 and 2017, performing in productions such as Loserville, Oliver!, Spamalot, and Half a Sixpence, and was proud to win the NODA award for Best Young Actor during his time there. Returning now to teach feels incredibly special. Over the last three years, Harry has taught singing, acting, and dance to young performers in London, helping to create youth productions and performance opportunities for 7–17 year olds.

Don’t forget to sign up for our summer schools asap! And keep a look out for our future shout outs.
