What a fantastic couple of days at Tesco Extra Whitstable – and it certainly was a hot one today! ☀️🥵

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, donated, or simply shared words of encouragement. The support from our community is always incredibly uplifting and reminds us why we do what we do.

One particularly special moment was receiving a donation from someone we had supported during a difficult time. It was wonderful to hear they’re now doing so much better and wanted to give something back

A big thank you to Sam Tesco Whitstable Community Champion and the team at Tesco Extra Whitstable for supporting the event, including Tesco’s own donation of washing sheets and microwaveable pasta dishes.

Finally, thank you to our amazing volunteers, who gave up their time over the last two days. Thanks to your hard work, we’ve received a huge boost in donations that will help keep our shelves stocked and support local people when they need us most.
