We are so proud of two of our amazing volunteers who have completed three Kiltwalks so far this year, with their final one coming up next Sunday in Edinburgh!

A huge thank you to you both, not only for the time and support you give to our community, but also for going the extra mile to raise funds for Whitburn Community Development Trust.

WE’RE HIRING – COMMUNITY FACILITIES ASSISTANTS

Whitburn and District Community Development Trust is looking for three Community Facilities Assistants to join our team at Whitburn Community Centre.

We have:
• Two posts of 12 hours per week
• One post of 16 hours per week
• £15.00 per hour
• Regular evening and weekend shifts

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of Whitburn Community Centre. You’ll help welcome Centre users, prepare rooms, carry out routine safety checks and ensure the building is opened, operated and secured safely.

We’re looking for dependable, approachable people who enjoy helping others, take pride in their work and can work confidently and responsibly.

If you’re looking for a part-time role where you can play an important part in keeping a busy community facility welcoming, safe and accessible, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing date: Monday 14th September 2026 at 5pm
