On Monday 19th October we welcomed more corporate volunteers to site. They helped us;
* move the trees to a temporary area, in preparation for a new crazy experiment!
* extend and turn the compost area
* finished the base coat of the container
* building a wash-station stand

Thanks to Kevin for his help over the past 2 Monday's, and to the Suez tax team for coming en mass!

Too busy for pics today. Massive thanks to Johnny Boxshall for bringing extra new helpers; Adam & Davey who tackled our ever growing compost area.
Thanks to Reuben from Fat Head Brewery for being the bringer of the grain. I trust we washed the buckets enough for you!
Special thanks goes to Mark for harnessing the power of the sun 🌞 💡🔋👌 courtesy of our long term/ oldest supporter, Mr B.
Also another newbie Jess got stuck in with the weeding and watering, for which the trees thank 😊 you!
Oh and shout out to Vojtek and his sidekick from Moor Fabrications who dropped off some more pallets! *if you are a dab hand at DIY fencing let us know!*
There was just about enough time to have a brew with Kate from Garden Organic / North Somerset Master Composters and ponder on the possibility of the "Weston Wonder Worms 🪱 " idea 💡, can enough people see this happen....? 🤔
**[We still need to finish off fixing the polytunnel cover tightly in place, and crafting some doors, if anyone's keen to help]**

Huge shout out to Justin Sloan from sloanlandscapesltd who remade our doorframe on the polytunnel and reset the whole frame so that is definitely not going anywhere in a hurry!
We're now ready for Saturday's helpers to put the cover on!

What will become of this i wonder?! 🤔 If you want to guess what hairbrained scheme we might be using these for at the community tree nursery project, then the floors all yours.....

We need your help!! 🆘️ We have progressed from an empty spot to a polytunnel frame....now we need the cover put on before the temperature🌡 drops too low.
Sadly due to people dropping out we need all the help we can get ❗️This coming Saturday 19th Sept at 10:00❗️ With enough pairs of hands/bodies we reckon we can get it fixed on in a couple of hours.🕑
If you can't, but know someone who could help us please get them to get in touch ASAP!🤞👥
Many thanks 😊
