Great night at class the kids worked very hard and loks of happy faces at the end of class! Massive welcome to our new members!

We have decided to continue to run Wemyss Bay class throughout the school holidays and is open to all Shoto Budo members!

We are pleased to announce that we are having our first ever Family Quiz Night & Presentation of grades on the 26th June 7pm to 10pm at the Oyo Gin House. Tickets are £2pp and kids are FREE with the prize for the winning team being half of the ticket money so please get in touch to order your tickets...open to ALL the family so get as big a team as you can as I know it will be a fantastic night 😀

Practice night for the demonstration at the Wemyss Bay Gala Day and it went very well thank you to all who came along and don't worry if you missed tonight I can run through it quickly during the week at classes x

Beautiful night again so took the mats outside! This video shows the breakfall kata and shows how we also adapt the kata for those not confident in falling from standing so we work on doing the breakfalla from kneeling.

All the kids were awesome tonight and working hard for their gradings in 4 weeks time.

Please note Wemyss Bay Community Centre is a Polling Station next Thursday so class is unfortunately off. Please remember we have other classes available and the kids are welcome to attend any class on a Tuesday night 7pm to 8.15pm at Greenock Sports Centre or Wednesday 7.30pm to 8.30pm Inverkip Hub.

With today's glorious weather please ensure you take water/drink to class tonight keep hydrated and if all goes to plan we will be outdoors for a segment of the session as kids seemed to enjoy it last week...I know I did! Laura x

Inverclyde Shoto Budo is an inclusive martial art and we are offering a 6 week FREE training programme aimed at both children and adults who are interested in learning self defense or to keep fit. We have various classes within the Inverclyde area.
