Wanborough Show Wanborough Show is a small country show based at the village of Wanborough at the foot of the downs just outside Swindon.

Wanborough Show is a small country show. It is a one day event, bigger than a village fete, but small enough not to lose its intimacy, unlike some of the larger events in the area. Located in the village of Wanborough just 1.5 miles from J15 of the M4, 5 miles from the centre of Swindon and amid a cluster of villages on the edge of the Wiltshire downs, it is easily accessible for many people. Show is organised by a committee of volunteers on a 'not-for-profit' basis. All money raised is used to cover the costs of staging the event. Any surplus funds at the end of the year are distributed to local organisations and worthy causes.

Red watch on duty today.

Yesterday, we were invited to the Wanborough village fete to meet the locals and show the kids and adults alike the fire engine and the equipment we use.

Looks like FF Waite had a little bit too much fun!

Does anybody know why we as a team put our heart and soul in producing a fab show of which we have had so many happy comments, let the knockers who didn't come, who will pay more for burgers etc than the entry fee make us all wonder why? It hurts

We had a wonderful time yesterday. What an amazing selection of entertainment, stalls and things to see and do.

Our Green tent had an amazing 406 entries this year across 79 entrants. Our Children's section hit a whopping 480 entries over 255 entrants, we believe this is more than ever before! We are so thrilled that our community still comes out to take part and enjoy in local events.

We want to thank our brilliant sponsors again, our incredible volunteers, our tireless committee... but most of all we want to thank YOU. Thank you for taking part and coming along. Without you the show would not continue to happen.
