GODSHILL ROAD CLOSURE STARTS TOMORROW …. Resident are reminded that major improvement works on the main road through Godshill will begin on Monday next week (November 2), with a diversion route for motorists and a shuttle bus arrangement now confirmed, to help keep the village connected during the road closure scheme.

Remember … Remember … Many animals are traumatised by fireworks, and locally we have horses that require sedation and sheep and other animals that need to be brought inside and locked away for the duration of any activity. It would really help their owners if residents could post on this page a date, time and general location of when they are planning to let their fireworks off. Many thanks … from the animals too!!

🎃 Make the most of October Half Term by bus! 🚌

With two weeks of fun to fill, leave the car behind and explore the Isle of Wight by bus! Single fares are just £3, under 5s travel free, and dogs are welcome. 🐾

🧙 Godshill Model Village – Hunt for hidden red squirrels and mini pumpkins. Take routes 2 or 3.

🚌 Isle of Wight Bus Museum – Discover classic buses and transport memorabilia. Take routes 2, 3 or 8.

🌊 The Needles Breezer – Enjoy open-top views of the stunning West Wight. Please note: the £3 fare doesn't apply, and the service finishes for the season on 1 November.

🦁 Wildheart Animal Sanctuary – Meet amazing animals and follow their Halloween Adventure Trail. Take route 8 or routes 2 and 3 from Sandown.

👑 Osborne House – Explore Queen Victoria's beautiful former summer home. Take routes 4 or 5.
