What a brilliant week to celebrate the amazing people who give their time, energy and heart to our community 💛

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙖, 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡.

Having an extra pair of hands is always a huge help — and the children absolutely love having new faces to play, learn and explore with 🌈✨

All of our volunteers and students follow the same safer recruitment processes as staff, ensuring our little ones enjoy a fun, welcoming and safe environment every day.

Are you a voluntary and community organisation, sport and leisure club or a faith based group looking to develop your volunteers or staffs understanding of safeguarding?

30th September at 9.30am - 1.30pm - 160 Beeches Road, West Bromwich, B70 6HQ

Spaces will be limited to 15 participants, however there is a waiting list as well so if we get too many you will be added and notified when another session has been booked in.

The session is free, however there will be a £25 charge for anyone that books a place and does not attend on the day. To book places please contact - [email protected]

These sessions are focused on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Together, we’ll explore practical tools to help start real conversations and support one another to get men talking.

📢 An update on the Birmingham and Black Country Communities Fund

Due to unprecedented demand, the BBCC Fund is now closed to new applications.

Heart of England Community Foundation are incredibly grateful to everyone who applied and to the communities across Birmingham and the Black Country whose work continues to inspire them.

They're pleased to share that the fund is expected to reopen in September 2026.
