He works with our CEO and Board of Trustees to deliver our strategy to ensure we provide the best service we can to our sector. He is also responsible for our IT and HR functions.

We lead by example at SCVO, so Ian’s role ensures that we are in the very best shape to provide a great service to our voluntary sector and, in turn, the Sandwell residents they support.

They have provided support with legal matters, governance, funding, and volunteering, as well as answering all sorts of general questions about running a business in the voluntary sector. Without their help, the voluntary sector would feel like a much lonelier place.

Grants of up to £5 Million Available to Foster Stronger Community Connections.

Voluntary and community organisations, statutory bodies, charities and partnerships can apply for grants of £500,000 to £5 million, spread over 2 to 10 years, to support large scale projects that bring diverse communities together.

The National Lottery Community Fund’s UK Fund is open to applications from organisations seeking to scale up proven work that tackles inequality and delivers systemic change. Rather than funding new ideas, the programme supports projects that are already making an impact and have the potential to grow their reach or deepen their effectiveness.
