RISE Theatre CIC is a professional Christian theatre company with a passion for delivering exciting, original, transformative theatre. We work at schools, churches, events and festivals across the UK with the aim of inspiring people of all ages to realise their full potential in life. We are passionate about creating:
- faith based stories that spark the imagination and speak to hearts and minds.

- transformative theatre that holds up a mirror to who we are and who we could be.​

Through multi-creative platforms we create opportunities for people of all ages to explore their sense of identity and purpose in the world. We continue to engage with a wide range of organisations across the UK, taking part in national tours, commissioned plays, events, festivals, filming, stage work, training, and leading workshops in schools, churches and youth centres.

The experiences and learning from 'Treasure Within' don't end after just one day!💎

The experience encourages children to reflect on how they can make the principles of Catholic Social Teaching a reality in their everyday lives. To support the ongoing journey, schools receive a free musical gift from us featuring original songs for praise and worship to help continue the learning long after the day itself. 🎶

This week we saw a brilliant example from one school who has made Treasure Within its theme of the year . The learning will certainly not be forgotten or lost there! 🙏

Introducing the cast for the summer tour of Treasure Within:

Katriona Stidston is joining Rise for the first time to play Charlie (and a range of other zany characters!) in the show.

Nicole Cuthbert joins us for her second tour with Rise, playing Robin, a cheeky school kid who learns that each and every person has a treasure within them.

Both Kat and Nicole trained at East15 and we’re thrilled for them to be bringing their brilliant acting, singing and comedic storytelling to the tour.

Holy Saturday — a day of stillness, waiting, and hope in the darkness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our final Passion Play today. It has been a privilege to share this true story with you.

Now, we wait… and we look to tomorrow, when death is overcome and we can proclaim with joy:
“He is risen!”
