It's hard to see this again now that it looks so wonderful inside.
But..we got there and got back open after a very long, stressful and difficult time of being closed.

☔ Waterloo hub weather report ☔

What a wild weekend we've had. I hope everyone has stayed safe and well.

Of course it was a very worrying time knowing that storm damage absolutely devastated Waterloo last October , and it was a long road to recovery so we feel very lucky and grateful that the poor sign was the only casualty of this weekend's weather.

Of course the sign was removed speedily so that nobody was at risk of being hurt.

Don't forget that both Waterloo and Cleveleys hubs are closed Mondays

A lovely soothing, calming space available at only £10 for an hour hire. You are welcome to split this with a friend and 2 can come along making this £5 each.

Today is World Menopause Day 2026.

This year's theme is Chronic Midlife Pain.

The International Menopause Society campaign this year is:
Raising awareness of persistent or changing pain conditions during midlife and the menopause transition, challenging gender stereotypes, and improving recognition and clinical support.

Menopause is a whole life transition that is experienced by women and people with wombs that affects people in physical ways but also cognitively. Yet there is an expectation to just 'get on with it's

Chronic pain affects a significant proportion of women during and after the menopause transition, yet it remains underestimated in both research and care.

Last night I was sent this picture, a picture nobody would want to receive….

It’s our Waterloo Road site.
My heart sank …I got straight down there

3 fire engines were in attendance

Luckily, it was a false alarm 🙏🏻
Something had set the fire alarm off….

Thank you to the fire service for being there 💚

Charity life is most certainly an emotional experience!
