FEEL GOOD FRIDAY…🎁✨ DUNELM’S DELIVERING JOY IS LIVE! ✨🎁
We are absolutely thrilled to be chosen by Dunelm Telford once again for their amazing campaign! 🎄💚
For many people supported by Stay, the festive period can be an incredibly difficult and lonely time of year. This initiative ensures that those experiencing or facing homelessness in our community have a meaningful gift to open on Christmas Day—sometimes containing essential items they need, like warm winter clothing, toiletries, or comforting treats.

How you can help make a difference:
🏃‍♀️‍➡️Head down to Dunelm Telford.
🎄Find the Delivering Joy tree located at the entrance.
🏷️Choose a gift tag specifically requested by someone supported by Stay & pick up an empty gift bag.
🧸Purchase or hand-craft the item (it doesn't have to be from Dunelm).
🛍️Return it unwrapped in the unsealed gift bag with the tag attached, to a store colleague (the team are so lovely).
🎅We’ll collect the Stay gift bags in time to get them to Santa and on Christmas Day your gift will be opened by someone we support. They will know you cared and that’s super special!

Pop in soon to get your Stay gift tag. If the tree is empty when you visit, just ask a member of staff behind the till—they have blank tags on hand and can help you fill one out for Stay.

Did you know Stay has 87 bed spaces across Telford & Wrekin providing supported accommodation for people facing or experiencing homelessness? Last year we enabled 174 people to have a safe place to call home, with person-centred support. 🏠❤️

We are deeply moved by a beautiful gesture in memory of a special young woman, Zara, who sadly passed away recently. Her family and friends have raised an incredible £555 for Stay in her honour.

Zara was exceptionally kind and caring, living a life filled with daily, effortless acts of kindness. She cared deeply about her community and championed Stay’s work to support those in need.

This generous donation will be put to immediate use, helping local people facing crisis and homelessness. Zara’s legacy will continue to bring warmth and hope to the lives of vulnerable individuals when they need it most.

We send our condolences and heartfelt thanks to Zara’s family and friends. Even in a time of unimaginable grief, your kindness shines through. Thank you for letting Zara's light live on through Stay. 🤍

🌟 Huge shoutout to Emily & Daniel, 2 amazing kids who are stepping up to make a difference! 🌟
Our incredible young fundraisers are working hard to support Stay with their 9 Day Kindness & Fitness Challenge.
Through their creativity and kindness, they are helping us ensure that no one has to face homelessness alone. 🙌

Here’s what they have been doing so far…
🤸‍♀️Saturday - jumping jacks.
🗑️Sunday - litter picking, they filled 6 bin bags!
🎨Monday - making art and crafts to sell.
☕️Tuesday - cleaning & helping at Costa, the customers enjoyed chatting with them about their challenge.
😁Today - putting on an art and crafts session for kids in Costa, Southwater.

🍂Tomorrow they are helping neighbours with their gardens.
🍪Friday, baking scrummy cookies for a bake sale at Priorslee Garden Centre on Saturday. Why not pop in and say hi.
🥾They’ll finish their challenge with a walk up the Wrekin on Sunday.

Emily & Daniel chose Stay for their challenge because they didn’t like to think of anyone sleeping outside in the cold, wet weather and that means the world to us. We are so incredibly proud of their dedication and the impact they are making in our community!🫶
