Pudsey is certainly gaining some interest!

Swindon Big Knit has brought a much-loved charity icon to life after knitting 300 yellow squares and transforming them into a life-size Pudsey Bear to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

Good Afternoon!
Would anyone like to make some children's shawls for Victorian dress up. We are looking for 12-15 shawls. The size is approx. 50" wide and 21" deep in victorian colours. I have posted a colour chart in the comments. I have found a free and easy shawl crochet pattern (although it is US terms), but something along the lines of the granny stitch style.

Afternoon, as you know we are holding a workshop on the 11th July in town on behalf of Threads - 19 Canal Walk (old Argos building next to MacDonalds)
Teresa and Sue will be running it - thank you in advance. You are more than welcome to go along and join in the workshop, it is free of charge. From 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm. Plus lots of other workshops happening throughout July. There is also an exhibition on too - I went along today to set up the Swindon Big Knit Stand, and it is all coming together. We hope to see you there.
