Looking for some last minute childcare for the end of the Summer Holidays? Look no further: Castle Hill Holiday Club is now at Weldon Heart 💚

Children can enjoy a range of activities throughout the day, such as arts & crafts, group braiding classes, outdoor games, board games, movie afternoons and more! A light lunch and snacks are provided.

Have life’s challenges knocked your confidence? Feeling lonely, overwhelmed, or simply looking for a creative outlet?

Join us at Weldon Heart for a series of FREE Writing for Wellbeing workshops with Hope On Prescription .

You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need any experience. Just bring yourself.

You’ll explore simple, enjoyable writing activities that can help you:
💚 Build confidence
📝 Express your thoughts and feelings
🌿 Reconnect with your creativity
🤝 Meet new people in a safe, welcoming space

There’s no pressure to read your writing aloud or share anything personal – sharing is always your choice.

📅 Weekly on Sundays from 9th August – 27th September

These workshops are open to anyone aged 18+ and are completely FREE, thanks to the generous support of our funders and partners.

👑✨ A FREE royal invitation awaits... ✨👑

This Thursday, little princes and princesses are invited to create their very own sparkling crown before colouring in a special Royal Decree, officially declaring them a Prince or Princess of Grounded! 👑📜

Decorate your crown with glitter, gems and plenty of imagination, then colour in and take home your royal certificate as a keepsake from your visit.

We’re thrilled to be welcoming HandMade Theatre to Weldon Heart for The Big Butterfly Picnic – a FREE outdoor family event featuring three performances of the enchanting puppet show The Butterfly House.

We’re so proud to share our weekly schedule of activities at Weldon Heart 📅

All classes and activities are led by independent local businesses, instructors and community class leaders. To book or find out more, head to our link in bio where you’ll find their booking pages and contact details.

Please note that schedules are managed by each individual class leader and may change depending on their availability, so we always recommend checking directly with them before attending.

We’re especially proud that many of our sessions are delivered by local residents too. They’re bringing their skills, passions and ideas into the heart of our community.

Penny, better known as Nan and a Van, will be hosting outdoor activities at the amphitheatre on Friday.

To make the most of the fun, Grounded will also be extending its opening hours, so parents and children can enjoy an afternoon coffee, cold drink or sweet treat after the activities.

Be sure to check Grounded - Coffee • Community • Wellness on Friday for their confirmed opening hours.

And don’t forget… our play park is always open, so there’s plenty to enjoy! 🌳🛝
