Sports 4 Change Goes International: Partnering with Japan for Inclusive Coaching!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Sports 4 Change has officially partnered with the Japanese Inclusive Coaches Association! Together we are delivering an exclusive series of four professional seminars focused on sharing inclusive coaching practices, practice design and impactful coach behaviours.

Seminars 1 and 2 were an absolute privilege to deliver, proudly hosted at none other than the Japan Football Association (JFA) headquarters!

Bringing together a mix of both professional and grassroots coaches, these sessions are all about collaborating globally to break down barriers, share knowledge and ensure sport truly is accessible for everyone…no matter where they are in the world.

A massive thank you to our incredible hosts and to all the coaches who attended and shared their insights. We are absolutely thrilled to take our mission of building Happy Lives and Successful Communities to an international stage!

Fun Times at the Springhead Primary School Fair!

We had an absolute blast bringing the energy to the Springhead Primary School Fair!

Our team set up the crowd-favourite Sports 4 Change inflatables alongside our dedicated football skill zones. It was fantastic to see so many children stepping up, challenging themselves, and smiling face-to-face while burning off some energy.

Delivering active, high-energy experiences right into the heart of local schools is exactly how we love to support our community and promote Happy Lives.

A massive thank you to Springhead Primary School for having us and to all the families who came over to join in the fun!

Connecting for Impact: Our Community Network Event

We were thrilled to bring together some brilliant organisations at our recent Community Network Event at our Wombwell Park Hub to discuss potential collaborations and shared visions for the near future.

Our mission is to ensure the Hub operates as a truly shared community asset. By working side-by-side with other local groups, we can combine our strengths, share resources and co-deliver activity programmes that maximise our collective impact across Gravesham.

From the coaches out on the grass to the young leaders stepping up at our Wombwell Park Hub, our volunteers give their time, energy and passion to make sport accessible for everyone across Gravesham.

You don't just help run sessions—you build confidence, teach life skills and create a safe space where young people belong. You are the heart and soul of everything we do.

6 in 10 young people have never had a job—and it’s not because they don’t want to.

Sport is a transformative tool. It develops the vital human skills that are easily lost in a digital world—confidence, clear communication, face-to-face interaction, and teamwork.

This past week, Sports 4 Change put this into action. We worked with 17 inspiring young people aged 14–16 as they successfully completed their CIMSPA-aligned Junior Football Leader Award!

Throughout the course, every single one of them stepped up to demonstrate:

- Essential coaching behaviours
- Basic refereeing and game management
- A deeper understanding of diverse careers in football

To top it off, they completed 10 hours of voluntary experience in a live community setting. Real skills, real settings, real interactions.

This fantastic group is now ready to head out into grassroots clubs, schools, and community organisations to support local football activities and games. This is where true confidence grows. One qualification, one opportunity, can be the ultimate turning point in a young person’s life.

Darts 4 All Pathway – From First Dart to Seasoned Player!

Following the massive success of our Primary Darts Festival, we are back with a 2-day Half Term Darts Camp!
