Team 2 played a friendly netball match against Lipnhearts , and although we didn’t come away with the win, we had a fantastic game and should be really proud of our performance.

we showed great determination, teamwork and commitment. Everyone worked hard, supported each other on court and gave their best throughout the match.

The match was also a brilliant opportunity for us to bond as a team.A big well done to everyone who played, and thank you to our opponents for a great friendly.

Swanley 3 Vs Beacons 11

With a strong performance, we made a good start in the first quarter, Swanley being able to gain a lead of 10-8. We then had some issues with transitioning and passing the ball down the court. Unfortunately this lead to us being unable to maintain our lead, with the end result coming to 44-31. Well played to everyone, it was a well fought game.

.. Swanley 1 vs Istead 2 24/10/26

With a new squad still settling into playing together, Swanley 1 started the game a little slow, losing our first centre pass, and falling behind in the first 5 minutes. We quickly adjusted though, and pulled back - the first quarter ended Swanley down by three, 5-8. The second quarter Swanley came with some more energy, and the game went goal for goal in the second quarter, to bring the half-time score to 12-15.
In the last couple of games Swanley have been seen to tire in the third quarter, but this week we really came into the game in this quarter. Some awesome play in defence and turnovers, with some great changes of direction in attack helping to cleanly bring the ball down to the shooters, meant we won the third quarter and at the end of that quarter we brought it back to an even 23-23.
In the last quarter Swanley were going goal for goal with Istead. With some unforced errors on both sides, the game got very tense in the dying minutes. We lost possession on a few turned over balls, and couldn’t quite convert them all. A really close game!

Special thanks to Carly who played up from Swanley 2 to help us out last minute!

Final score Swanley 1 30 - 31 Istead 2

Swanley 3 Vs Hornets 5.

In the match against Hornets 5 on Saturday October 17th, the final score was 47-19 to Hornets.
Our defence strategically improved throughout the game and this was seen in everyone, not just in defensive positions. This was not necessarily reflected by the score in each quarter, as our best quarters were the 2nd and 4th - however it was definitely highlighted in applying pressure on the opposition ball.
In our next game, we should use more effective communication, both on court and from the sidelines, to encourage each other and present alternative options for passing.

After a slow start, Swanley delivered a strong performance to secure a convincing 20–7 victory over Beacons. The team showed great teamwork throughout the match, maintaining possession and applying consistent pressure in both attack and defence.
Swanley worked well to create scoring opportunities, with accurate passing and good movement helping to break through the Beacons defence. Strong defensive pressure and positive turnovers allowed Swanley to regain possession and keep control of the game.
Beacons continued to fight hard, but Swanley’s determination and consistent play helped to secure the win.
Overall, a great team performance from Swanley, with excellent teamwork throughout. 👏👏

Thursday 15/10/26
Swanley 1 Vs Chislehurst 3

Score: 49-21

With a lovely game swanley put on a great performance against Chislehurst 3 with fantastic effort all round. From amazing interceptions in defence to a controlled attack resulting in brilliant feeds into the D followed by some fantastic shooting and rebounds to maintain possession we comfortably took the lead resulting in a half time score of 24-12. A very fast pace with long balls on the counter attack was leaving a gap in attack so we adjusted our game to slow down the play in the second half allowing us to maintain a more even pace and stay consistent with play allowing us to further stretch the lead resulting in a massive score of 49 - 21.

Swanley U15 vs Beacons C8
Swanley win 34– 6

Swanley delivered a commanding display to secure the win with dominating possession through out all four quarters with relentless pressure and frequent positive turnovers in the defensive circle.
Swanley completed multiple direct centre passes straight to goal giving Beacons no time to react.
In the third and fourth quarter Beacons dropped down to 6 players but still put up a good fight on both the defence and attack.
Overall a strong game between Swanley and Beacons with direct shots and quality turnovers.

Saturday 19th September 26

Swanley U15 V Raiders Lions

Swanley put in a fantastic team performance in a very closely contested match against Raiders, leading 3-2 at the end of the first quarter and extending their advantage to 9-5 at half-time. The defensive unit worked tirelessly to win key turnovers and disrupt Raiders’ attack, while the attacking players made the most of their opportunities with patient build-up play and accurate shooting. Raiders fought back strongly in the second half, making for a tense finish, but Swanley’s teamwork across the court ensured they held on for a well-deserved 14-13 victory. The strong link between defence and attack was the difference in a match that remained close right up until the final whistle.

26.9.26 Swanley Blue Vs Breakaways U14b

Swanley Blues started their 2026 campaign against Breakaways in a contested game. With a number of our squad unavailable we were just able to field a squad of 7 with players supporting from other squads, however everyone gelled together and built connections throughout the game.

We let the game get away from us in Q2 but the girls dug deep to go on and win the next 2 quarters and the second half of the match. It was a pleasure to welcome Emma for her first competitive Swanley game and despite not having fresh legs on the sideline, everyone worked really hard until the final whistle, which was reflected in the scoreline - some of the best netball we've seen from players in this squad 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
