FoodCycle community meals bring people together for good food and conversation, using food which would have otherwise gone to waste. Every Wednesday at 6 PM.

We invite you to join us at the table to share a free, tasty meal - every Wednesday at 6pm in Sutton-in-Ashfield. FoodCycle is a registered charity across England and Wales - we offer free sit down meals to anyone who would like them, no booking needed, no questions asked, everyone is welcome! Join us for tasty food and good company at the following locations and times:

Yesterday at FoodCycle Sutton-in-Ashfield our volunteers served up a delightful 3-course meal to 3️⃣5️⃣guests from the local community 🧡 😋

On the menu this week we had:
🍜 Warm autumn soup with garlic bread
🥔 Quorn sausage bean pot with potatoes and cabbage
🍮 Rice pudding with mango coulis and pineapple

Great work from our creative kitchen team as always , supported by our wonderful hosts who make our guests feel welcome each week 🙌

Yesterday at FoodCycle Sutton-in-Ashfield our volunteers served up a delightful 3-course meal to 3️⃣3️⃣ guests from the local community 🧡 😋

On the menu this week we had:
🍅 Homemade hummus with toast and tomato salad
🥘 Combos bean bake with boiled potatoes
🍎 Apple cake and custard

We offered a reduced service at FoodCycle Sutton yesterday evening, with our lovely volunteers coming together with our wonderful guests to create a warm and welcoming environment for a good chat and some nice biscuits!

We will be back to full service next week, so we look forward to seeing you all back then.

FoodCycle Sutton-in-Ashfield will be offering drinks and surplus food bags only this week.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused but look forward to welcoming our guests back for a meal next week!

Yesterday at FoodCycle Sutton-in-Ashfield our volunteers served up a delightful 3-course meal to 3️⃣6️⃣ guests from the local community 🧡 😋
On the menu this week we had:
🍜 Carrot soup with bread 🍜
🍕 Yorkshire pudding quiche with tomato and cucumber salad 🍅
🍰 Apple cake and custard 🍎

We also launched our sustainable bag initiative, a massive thanks to our team of volunteers who have made these wonderful bags, so our guests are able to take left over surplus food home and avoid the use of plastic bags!
