On behalf of the club we would like to say a MASSIVE congratulations to our Girls Tug of War team who have only gone and WON the West Region SAYFC eliminations 🥇

What an amazing effort from each and every one of the girls! To Faither Matt and team at Whitecraigs for all their coaching and guidance!! Thank you to all the supporters who came along to cheer them on 🙌🏻

This qualifies them for the highly contested National Final at the Royal Highland Show on Saturday 20th June!! We hope to see lots of you there 👀

Congratulations to all other teams today and to those who have qualified for the highland 🔥

Last night we held our Annual Tractor and ATV Driving Competition at Dykehead Farm by kind permission of the Bryson Family!!🤩

It was a great turnout and brilliant to see so many junior members along giving it a go!!

Huge thank you to Hamilton Ross Group for supplying the tractor for the night!

🏆🌟LANARKSHIRE SPORTS 🌟🏆

Today lots of our members headed along to the much anticipated Lanarkshire Sports Competition at Biggar Sports Centre!! It was great to see so many people representing the club once again 👏🏻🌟

VOLLEYBALL 🏐
We had 2 teams competing in a very tough and competitive tournament!! No placings for them today but great efforts from all👏🏻

NETBALL 🏃🏼‍♀️
Our girls were out in force with 2 teams competing!! After some intense games and a brilliant final against Biggar A our Avondale A team came away with……..

🏆FIRST PLACE 🏆

A brilliant effort from all involved and great to see the trophy returning to Avondale for another year💪🏻

FOOTBALL ⚽️
Our football team were out for the afternoon and put up a good fight against some tough opposition!! No placings, but shout out to Lynsey and Izzy for stepping in last minute - showing the boys how it’s done 👏🏻

Well done to everyone competing and to all who go on to represent the district at West Region in July!! 🍀
