This coming weekend (Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June 2026), representatives of Shakespeare Morris will be attending Vale of Evesham National Morris Weekend to assist with the running of proceedings and make sure everything runs to time.

Pop along and say hello to any of us and let’s hope next year we’ll be back to dancing at this fabulous event!

Well what a busy night we’ve had!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see Shakespeare Morris, Belle D'Vain, Bow Brook, Elemental, Gloucestershire and surprise guests White Hart dance at the Crown and Trumpet Inn.

A splendid time was had by all!

No dance out next Monday as we’re out on Wednesday 24th June at The Boars Head - Hampton Lucy from 20:00 as guests of Hereburgh who have also invited Alvechurch!

In 1997, Shakespeare's Globe opened on this day and Shakespeare Morris of Stratford-upon-Avon had the privilege to be invited down to one of the opening events on 01st June and we danced ‘Princess Royal’ (Bidford) on the Bankside.

SUNDAY 14th JUNE:
The Recreation Ground Bandstand in Stratford-upon-Avon for the launch of Ondine's Odyssey. We shall be dancing between 18:20 - 18:40.

MONDAY 15th JUNE:
Crown and Trumpet Inn, Broadway with Belle D'Vain Northwest Morris, Bow Brook Border Morris, Elemental Border Morris and The Gloucestershire Morris from 20:00 onwards.

The Morris 18–30 Tour is heading to Portsmouth in 2026!

We're delighted to announce that our 24th annual tour will take place from 16–18 October 2026 in Portsmouth, with indoor camping based in Petersfield.

For those who know Morris 18–30 from previous years, there's an important change: the tour is now open to ALL dancers and musicians.

The weekend will focus mainly on the Cotswold Morris tradition, with a packed programme of dancing, music, socialising, and the chance to spend time with Morris folk from across the UK.

Whether you've been involved in Morris for years or are relatively new to it, we'd love to welcome you along for a weekend of great dancing and good company.

On Sunday 14th June, Shakespeare Morris of Stratford-upon-Avon have the great privilege to be the finale of Stratford-upon-Avon’s Great Big Green Week celebrations run by The Climate Coalition, which a UK-wide Net-Zero pledge where more than a million people will come together from 6 to 14 June to take action for their communities, for nature and for the climate with events across the country.

We’ll be at the Recreation Ground Bandstand from 18:20 until 18:40.
