🇵🇱🇬🇧 Two Histories, One Heart
On Sunday, we gathered in Stratford-upon-Avon to honour Remembrance Sunday—a moment of silence for those who gave everything.
Today, 11th November, we celebrate Polish Independence Day—a day of pride, resilience, and remembrance.
Together, these commemorations form a beautiful bridge between Poland and Britain. A shared story of sacrifice, courage, and enduring friendship.
Stefan and Jędrzej laid a wreath on behalf of Copernicana CIC. No words were needed. It was a tribute to those who perished, and a promise to remember.
To paraphrase a line from Polish poet Zbigniew Herbert:
„Idź wyprostowany wśród tych co na kolanach…”
“Go upright among those who are on their knees…”
May we walk upright.
May we remember.
May we carry love across borders and generations.
With respect and gratitude,
Copernicana CIC
