Loose Watercolour: African Animals, £57

Saturday 17th October
10am - 4pm
Shottery Memorial Hall Art Studio

www.suechatterton.co.uk We are very pleased to welcome Sue to do this workshop following her fascinating demonstration in April. Sue has a unique style where she layers transparent watercolour to create depth and luminosity. At her last workshop for us, we had overwhelmingly good feedback from our members.

Join Sue for a colourful, creative watercolour workshop painting a rhino, elephant or other animal of your choice, in her distinctive semi-realistic style. Suitable for all abilities, the day will include plenty of expressive wet washes, playing with colour harmony and playful drawing. You can work from Sue’s rhino reference photo or bring your own image and enjoy the freedom to exaggerate, adapt and bring real personality to your animal. Sue will lead the creative process.

Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring you own mug and lunch.

You will need to bring your usual watercolour materials with you. More details can be found on our website:
