Did anyone listen to You and Yours on Radio 4 at Lunchtime yesterday?

If you did then you'll have heard one of our client's, Lloyd and his mum talk about their experience of recruiting for PAs on Facebook and how taking a more personal approach to advertising, is helping them recruit people of a similar age and interests to Lloyd.

I was asked to comment and share some of the challenges faced by social care in recruiting the right people.

My main point was that Carers / Personal Assistants are so undervalued and that increasing pay to reflect the level of responsibility is key to attracting appropriate talent.

If you missed it, you can listen here from 39.09 onwards - though the piece on stealth camping was interesting and a new concept on me!

Listeners share their stories as gym-goers see bank accounts emptied in locker raid.
