🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅
It’s been another busy weekend of racing for the club, with fantastic performances across the trails, roads and multisport events! 👏
🥉 Poynton Spunch 120
On Tuesday, Janet was collecting checkpoints in Poynton as she took on the Poynton Spunch 120, successfully gathering enough checkpoints within the 120-minute time limit to secure 3rd place!
🏃♀️ Carsington Water Trail Half Marathon
On Saturday, Laura hit the trails at the Carsington Water Trail Half Marathon, putting in a brilliant performance to finish 1st in her age category. Fantastic running, Laura! 👏
🌳 Fairway 5
There was a great turnout from the club on Sunday as Stephen, Amy, Paul C, Paul F, Gillian, Amelia, Anna, Jo and Emma took on the hilly and challenging Fairway 5-mile trail run. Well done to everyone who took part! 💪
🏆 McA Airport Duathlon
There was plenty of success for the club at the McA Airport Duathlon!
🥇 Rob took 1st place in his age category, while Charlie secured 2nd place in his.
🥈 Janet finished 2nd female overall and 1st in her age category, with Gabrielle hot on her heels, taking 3rd female overall and 1st in her age category too!
An amazing set of results all round! 🙌
🏃 Macclesfield Running Festival
Karen and Nick R both posted superb times on the hilly 10K course at the Macclesfield Running Festival. Great work, both! 👏
🏃♂️ Aberselle 10K
Paul P was also putting in the miles, taking on the 10K at the Aberselle event. Well done, Paul!
🌍 Ironman 70.3 Portugal
Rounding off the weekend, Amjad was over in Portugal, where he put in a fantastic performance to complete the Ironman 70.3 Portugal in Cascais. What an achievement! 💪🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️
