BROADBAND:
The Scottish Government is investing in broadband infrastructure in your area through its Reaching 100% (R100) programme and we’re keen to get your support to help gather feedback.

The £600+ million programme is extending access to faster broadband to sub-30 Megabits per second homes and businesses who are unlikely to receive upgrades through commercial plans. You can find out more about R100 at: gov.scot/digitalconnectivity.

To understand whether and how households and organisations have benefited from R100, the Scottish Government is undertaking an evaluation of the programme. As part of this, we are surveying households and organisations who:

Are scheduled to receive broadband access via R100 but have not yet been connected
Have been provided with broadband access via R100 and have taken up the connection
Have been provided with broadband access via R100 but have not taken up the connection

The surveys are available online and can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/R100Evaluation or by scanning this QR code:
deadline for the survey is 3 March 2025

STREET LIGHTING REFURBISHMENTS ON A9 KEIR ROUNDABOUT NEAR DUNBLANE BEGINS MONDAY 2ND DECEMBER

Amey is undertaking a project delivering street lighting refurbishments on A9 Keir roundabout near Dunblane from Monday 2nd December to Friday 20th December. These works will take place on the roundabout and its approaches.

The £150,000 scheme, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, includes lighting column replacements, cable replacements, new ducts installations, luminaire replacement and feeder pillar installations.

These refurbishments will improve visibility due to new LED equipment and will reduce further maintenance and improve safety for 35,000 daily road users.

Work will take place weeknights from 7.30pm to 6.30am.

To ensure the safety of road workers and motorists there will be alternating lane closures on the Keir roundabout and its approaches.

Additionally, temporary traffic lights will be in operation at all junctions approaching the Keir roundabout except the M9 and the A9 to Perth road.

Please note the B824 Doune road/south approach to the roundabout will be closed between Monday 16th and Friday 20th December.

For diversion for B824, continue north on A9 to northbound off slips to A820 Stockbridge. After taking the slips continue on A820 West until you reach B824.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent.
