Another great evening at Stirling Speakers!

We were joined by our guest Vicky, who got stuck straight in and did brilliantly to win Table Topics! Well done Vicky!

We also had two prepared speeches this evening from Ava and Andrew. One of the great things about Toastmasters is that it gives you the chance to practise presentation skills in a supportive environment that you can then use in real life.

Pictured is our President Jennie Reed being presented with her medal for her presidency. Well done again, Jennie.

📍Our next meeting is on 14 September at 7pm at Mayfield Centre, Stirling. We would love to see you there.

We had another great evening at Stirling Speakers! 🤗

We had a prepared speech from Ava, followed by Table Topics, where our guest Moyo took the win! It’s so inspiring seeing everyone show up each week, have a go and gradually become more confident speaking in front of others. That’s what makes the club so great, everyone is at a different stage, but we’re all there to support each other and improve.

If you’re looking to get better at public speaking or just want to build a bit more confidence, come along to Stirling Speakers! We’re a really supportive bunch and guests are always very welcome. 😊

Such a great evening at Stirling Speakers yesterday!

We had two prepared speeches from Ava and Andrew. Andrew walked us through the steps to becoming a more distinguished club, and somehow managed to weave that as the Word of the Day too, very strategic 🤪

Donna kept things fun with Table Topics, and a big well done to Fiona for taking the win!

If you’ve been thinking about joining, why not come along and help us become even more distinguished?

A great evening at Stirling Speakers, enjoying the summer sun and a fantastic session led by our Toastmaster Fiona 🌞

We were delighted to welcome visiting members Kit and James, and were treated to an insightful speech by James titled “Practice Makes Permanent.” It offered some excellent advice on how to prepare and refine speeches. Thank you James! Table Topics was lots of fun, with Margaret stepping in!

And on the topic of winning, an even bigger congratulations to Gerry for taking first place in the Division S International Speech Contest. An incredible achievement. Tonight was something a little different at Stirling Speakers, an online meeting! 💻

Well done to our Toastmaster Andrew for keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring the meeting went to plan. We adapted, improvised, and made it a great evening.

The theme was all things travel ✈️ and we enjoyed two prepared speeches. Well done Andrew and Gary for your great contributions. We also had some fun and engaging Table Topics, keeping the travel theme going.

Great effort from everyone who took part tonight!

We look forward to seeing you all again on the 23rd March at 7pm at the Mayfield Centre.
