We've had a blast hosting the work of over 30 Scottish artists & makers, and we know you've enjoyed them as well! You still have this weekend to shop all your favourites until they come back for a visit. After all, it's only a short break until our extra special festive market starts. We are delighted to announce that this Autumn we will have a brand new exhibition taking place in Gallery 1 - A LIFE IN PAINT: The Boaby Fisher Story

A retrospective exhibition by Scottish artist Andrew O’Donnell, who works under the name Boaby Fisher & is best known for the multi-award-winning musical project
•
Bringing together created over many years, the exhibition reflects his love of Scotland’s landscapes, wildlife & storytelling!

Opening night on 11th September 6pm till 9pm! We hope to see you there! 🍻

WOWEE!!! 🥳 We’ve only just recovered from our Opening Party for our brand new collective exhibition - Bloody Editions - STORYTELLING: Whodunnit?

Thanks so much to all the MIS collective members who submitted a piece & to everyone who popped down to get a first look!

We love a group exhibition & thought it was the perfect time to showcase our talented cohort to celebrate this years Bloody Scotland crime writing festival
•
Our artists were asked to create a piece based around stories, chilling tales & frightful folklore but can you guess whodunnit? Grab one of the torches around the gallery & the labels might help you solve the conundrum!
•
We’re delighted to be one of the Bloody Scotland venues this year so make sure when you pop in to check out the exhibition you pick up one of the festival programmes, lots of brilliant events & talks happening!

Last weekend we were absolutely delighted to be invited to ECA Craft Department MA Craft Degree Show by our super talented collective member also known in store as ShogieB

It’s been incredible to see & be part of Shonah’s glass journey! Over the years we have watched & supported her from selling her original stained glass pieces in store to hosting her City of Glasgow College class’ end of year show, programming sell out copper-foiling & fused glass courses & exhibiting her debut solo show ‘Reflections through Glass’
•
A massive Congratulations & well done Shonah from all the team at MIS! 🥳 🥂
•
Another huge Congratulations to Shirley of Shirley one of our seasonal market artists whose work was also on display
•
It’s fantastic to see a new course delivered by Edinburgh College of Art putting Craft at the forefront, well done to all to all involved, the work on show was fabulous!
