This unique Southwold themed chair is being auctioned to raise money for the Southwold Christmas Lights. Sophie Fahey upholstered the Southwold Chair for her upholstery degree show as a student at London Met University several years ago. The unique fabric, depicting Southwold's Lighthouse and iconic seafront, was designed by a fellow final year student on the textile design course.

Sophie fell in love with the design, its simplicity and complexity capturing the charm of the Southwold seafront. “Upholstering a Victorian style chair reminiscent of those found in seaside guesthouses of the Georgian and Victorian era was a perfect combination. I was delighted to commission the design to be printed on a heavy-duty canvas, maintaining the seaside/deckchair theme, and the Southwold Chair was born!”

You can view the chair in the Adnams Tour Centre at the back of the Swan Hotel in Southwold and bid via eBay, to find the chair, just search on eBay for the “Light Up Southwold Chair” or the item number 137693508429, the auction will end at 6pm on the 14th September.
