To other charities, £500 may only be a drop in the bucket, but for our small charity it will make a huge difference!

Sussex MS Centre receives no government funding, so we rely totally on donations to continue providing 13 different weekly therapies, 15 weekly exercise classes, 3 weekly support groups, one to one counselling, and oxygen therapy sessions to our members.

On Monday 29th June, Joshua Oguntade from Omega Orthotics will be visiting our Centre. Some of you may know Joshua from his past position in the Orthotics Clinic within the local NHS Hospitals.

On Monday 15th June at 2.00pm there will be a demonstration in the Gym of the Thermomix TM6.

Ana Roca-Martin will show how the Thermomix TM6 by cooking three recipes during the demonstration.

We are grateful to Thermomix who have donated a TM6 model to the Centre.
There will be a raffle to win the Thermomix TM6 to be drawn in early July (date TBC).

A massive thank you is in order to Colston Ltd who, in just two days, gave us a completely new kitchen!

Gary, Przemek, and Rory worked tirelessly (and were roped into far too many other 'little' jobs by us in the office!) to install new doors, a new splash-back, and a new worktop into our kitchen. It looks brand new!

All of the materials were generously donated by Howdens to whom we're very grateful.

We want to thank Colston Ltd for carrying out this work, it has completely revitalised the kitchen area and will be appreciated by members, volunteers, staff, and visitors for many years to come!

Last week, we were shut for two days to carry out some much-needed redecoration.

We have repainted the Chamber Room, fixed cracks and painted the Gym, refurbished our Kitchen (and us in the office have had a huge spring clean!).

All of this work was only possible because of our amazing volunteers. On the second day, we had volunteers from Aviva some of whom had previously volunteered for us before.

They worked very hard, beautifying not just the chamber room, but our therapy rooms, the front door, and the gym too!

Please join me in thanking them for their hard work and time spent volunteering for our Centre. We hope to have them back again soon!

Those of you who have been to our Centre this week have all noticed how beautiful it is looking!

All of this work was only possible because of our amazing volunteers. The first group we're thanking came from Kreston Reeves Sussex Branch.

We have been their Charity of the Year this year, and they used this day to cap it all off!

They were incredibly efficient and detail-orientated - exactly how you'd expect a group of accountants to be!

Please join us in thanking them for volunteering their time and working so hard to make our Centre look sparkling and new.

Special thanks must also go to Brewers Decorator Centres who donated the paint and decorating equipment (and the fab shirts which some of the guys are modelling!).

On Friday 15th May, we were delighted to welcome local MP Tom Rutland for his first visit to our Centre.

As volunteers worked in the garden, Chair of Trustees, Alex Nicholls and Centre Manager, Emily-Jane Stuttard gave him a tour of the Centre.

We enjoyed sharing with Tom how our members benefit from our services; highlighting the importance of community focused charities.

We're grateful to Tom for taking the time to visit, listen, and learn about our Centre and the impact it has on the lives of his constituents in Shoreham and Southwick.
