💗 PARK VIEW, WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN! 💗

What an amazing day, and what an even more amazing bunch of people!

Our Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Pink Day was a fantastic success, and thank you to everyone who attended.

🎉💷 TOGETHER WE RAISED AN AMAZING £712! 💷🎉

What a fantastic amount! From raffle tickets and cake sales to generous donations, every contribution helped us reach this incredible total!

🎀 AND THAT’S NOT ALL!

Our Bra Bank collection has also been a huge success, with so many bras generously donated! These will be dropped off at the end of the month.

Thank you to everyone who attends Park View Day Opportunities South, our wonderful staff, families and friends, whether you baked, donated, decorated, crafted, volunteered or simply came along to show your support, you all helped make the day so special!

The creativity, kindness, generosity and teamwork have been incredible, and we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together.

When Park View comes together, amazing things happen! 🩷

🎃🍪 HALLOWEEN FUN WITH REYNALDS CROSS SCHOOL! 👻💜

It was lovely to welcome our friends from Reynalds Cross School back to The Hive at Day Opportunities South for another visit as part of our transition programme and taster sessions! 🥰

We kicked things off with our favourite Wake Up, Shake Up! session, getting everyone moving, smiling and ready for the day! 💃🎶

Then it was time for some spooky fun in the kitchen! 🎃 Everyone got stuck in rolling out icing and decorating biscuits with some fantastic Halloween designs. And, of course, no cooking session is complete without a little washing up afterwards! 🧽😂

These visits are a wonderful opportunity to try new activities, build confidence, develop independence and make new friendships, all while having fun in a welcoming and supportive environment. 💜

It’s always a pleasure having Reynalds Cross join us, and we can’t wait to welcome them back for more fun and adventures! 🧡

Things got a little spicy in the kitchen as we got busy making samosas! 😋👩🏽‍🍳

A HUGE thank you to the lovely Nighat for volunteering her time to share her cooking skills and delicious recipes with us! 🧡

Everyone got stuck in making homemade samosas entirely from scratch! From rolling out the pastry and preparing the filling to carefully filling and folding each samosa. We even made a selection of tasty chutneys to accompany them!

Once fried to golden perfection, it was time for the best part… the taste test! 😋

And they tasted AMAZING! 👌

What a fantastic hands on cooking experience, with everyone learning new skills, working together and enjoying the delicious results! 🥰

A ROAST WORTH BOASTING ABOUT!

Last week, we rolled up our sleeves and got busy in the kitchen, cooking up a delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings!

From all the preparation to the finishing touches, we worked together to put on a proper Sunday-style feast!

And of course, the best part was sitting down to enjoy all our hard work! 🧡

Good food, great teamwork and plenty of happy tummies!

Discobowl Acocks Green

🎳 LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! 🏆

It was strikes, spares and plenty of smiles as we headed to Discobowl Acocks Green last week for a little friendly competition!

With everyone giving it their best shot, there was plenty of laughter and fun on the lanes. And a special shout-out to Karl, who bowled his way to the top of the scoreboard with an impressive 121 points! 👏

After all that bowling, it was time for us to refuel with a lovely spot of lunch at Woodman's Rest Pub, Shirley, Solihull! 🍽️

Good company, great fun and a lovely day out! 💜
