Join us for our last Together We Grow session and learn how to Prepare Your Veg Plot for Winter.

This is the perfect time to start thinking about how to get your vegetable plot ready for the colder months ahead.

This workshop will explore:

What crops to harvest and clear away

Vegetables and crops that can be planted for the colder months

Composting tips to improve soil

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced gardener, this free friendly, hands-on session offers the chance to learn new skills, share knowledge, meet like-minded people, and enjoy time outdoors at our community allotment.

Together We Grow sessions are designed to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and help our community connect through gardening.

💥 Bearwood Community Hub is hosting an art and crafts exhibition on Saturday 12th December at 3pm - 7pm 🎨🖌️🖼️

Who should apply?
•⁠ ⁠We encourage people from Bearwood & its surrounding areas to apply
•⁠ ⁠Artists, people who make crafts

How to apply?
•⁠ ⁠Email [email protected] with your contact number and a maximum of 2 pieces of your art.

What is involved?
•⁠ ⁠In the past, people have shown a couple of pieces of art and had a table with other items (cards, bookmarks)
•⁠ ⁠For crafters, this would be a table with their crafts
•⁠ ⁠Space to sell your art (commission will be set on a sliding scale, and decided closer to the deadline)

Decisions will be made by our lovely Rev. Wez Orange and Carolyn, creatives and members of Bearwood Community Hub

Deadline is Monday 5th October at 12pm

Are your children looking for something exciting to do on a Monday evening?

SeaVenturers gives young people the opportunity to discover adventure, build friendships, learn new skills and enjoy fun activities on the water!

Sessions take place every Monday:

SeaVenturers are also looking for volunteers who would like to support local young people and make a difference in their community. Volunteers can receive free training and DBS checks, gain recognised qualifications and enjoy other benefits.
