Our upcoming Nature & Gardening Sessions at Brushstrokes are going to involve a lot of creative fun and everyone's invited to come along and get involved. Guided by Ruby from Spectra, we've got four sessions where we'll be making resources for a new Little Library for the Commons Community Garden at the local Midland Met Hospital. There'll be lots of activities to get stuck into - seed collecting, wood work, painting, botanical ink painting and zine/book making. So check out the advert and come along if you can!!

A quick reminder about this Wednesday's Community Bike Ride from Brushstrokes to Wolverhampton Art Gallery and back again. Following our skirmishes with Storm Austen and Storm Boelo, we're looking to be on the receiving end of good weather this Wednesday, so come along and join the ride. A big thanks to Steve Brown from British Cycling Sandwell and Lutfur Rahman of the Canal & River Trust for supporting our Community Bike Rides - a great way for people to come together, get some exercise and explore their local area. At Brushstrokes this Wednesday 21st October, 10:30-12, we have an Art & Craft Activity for our women's group. Facilitated by Heath House Studios, the group will be using various techniques to make artwork for a tropical landscape scene. The final pieces of work will go on to decorate the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre during their upcoming pantomime Treasure Island. Our friendly Women's Group would love to welcome any new participants to this Wednesday's activity so come along or spread the word.

Join us during the upcoming half-term for a bike ride from Brushstrokes to Wolverhampton Art Gallery. Check out the advert for more information about this friendly and relaxed community bike ride. As usual, we'll have the support of Steve Brown from British Cycling Sandwell and Lutfur Rahman of the Canal & River Trust. Our rides are a great way to meet new people, explore the local area and get some exercise. Come along if you can.

We're delighted to announce that our next Community Film Evening at Brushstrokes will be the excellent film BOY! This will be screened on Friday 9th October at 6:30pm. As always, entry and refreshments are free of charge and everyone's invited to our evening of entertainment. A big thanks to Donna and Corinne and the rest of the Black Country Touring team for their support with our Community Film Evenings!

Plus, there'll be lots of opportunities to discuss issues the community faces living in Sandwell. Everyone's welcome to come along. 👍
