Farnham Common Village Hall is a thriving community hub in the heart of Farnham Common, offering two different rooms for hire on a regular basis or for as little as 1 hour. About Us
Farnham Common Village Hall is located on Victoria Road, a short walk from the main road and shops and parking in the centre village. The hall has three different sized rooms, each available for hire, with capacities o
f up to 130 seated in the main hall, up to 80 in the mid-sized hall, a smaller committee room for up to xx people seated. The hall was originally constructed as a Reading Room in 1889, with the main hall added in 1946, and further extension in 1957. The hall and its land is held in a charitable trust, for the benefit of the local community, and depends entirely on the income it generates from room bookings, charitable grants, and any private donations. The trust sets out for the hall to be hired for meetings, lectures, classes, recreation and leisure activities, to support residents of the local Parish and immediate area, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. Trustees and Volunteers
The trustees are responsible for decisions about the day to day operation of the hall, any investment in new facilities, and are responsible for securing the future of the village hall. On a day to day basis, Marilyn is responsible for taking bookings, and Peter is the part-time caretaker.
