We would love to recommend this CAP Money course, starting on 10th April 10.30-12.30 for 4 weeks in The House, on Otley Street, (where food bank is based)
The course is entirely free and is provided by trained volunteers from Skipton Baptist Church using material from one of the biggest debt relief charities in the UK: Christian's Against Poverty.
The Course gives people tools and skills to decide for themselves how to make their money go further and what choices they would like to make. Delegates get access to a confidential online budgeting tool which does most of the maths and makes budgeting easy.
Delegates are not asked how much money they have, or where they get it from. The course is unconnected to any part of the tax or benefits system and makes no recommendations about how people should spend their money.
The course is run from "The House" which is part of Skipton Baptist Church on Otley St in Skipton. Numbers are limited to 12 delegates per course.
