Following on from Steve and Dan we have our final act, Farrpass!

Farrpass are Joanna Farr and Malli Malpass, a couple of passionate vegans and an acoustic duo from Lincoln, playing an eclectic mix of covers they love and hopefully the audience loves too! They are proudly lending their support to Pigs in the Wood!

Following on from the wonderful Peter J Fitton we have Steve and Dan!

When is a band not a band!?

When it's two friends who only ever play together when they gig.....! Steve taught Dan guitar when he was younger and the friendship remained. But, once in a while, when they get the time, they get together and play their guitars!

No set lists, no pre-ordained order to things, these guys just let the music flow and play to their audience!

20 years of friendship and playing music together have forged a musical bond that is evident from how they play together. Steve is something of a Pig Gig veteran, having played the last three events. Dan is new to Pigs in the Wood but asked specifically to be on the bill with Steve this time!

The guys can't wait to entertain you with their blend of jingle jangle summer vibes, and a whole load of bass thunder to shake yer foundations!

Since we have had a few messages recently asking after lovely Tilly and Gloria who are currently on bed rest, here's a little update on their poorly feet. Gloria is almost ready to rejoin the other pigs in the woods, we are just waiting on a day when the ground is dry enough to see how she gets on. Her infection has completely gone and her foot feels stable enough to go out on dry days. Tilly still has a bit of swelling in her trotter so she is having another course of antibiotics. In about 3 weeks, she will be assessed again by the vet and fingers crossed she will be able to come out and start causing mischief again. Luckily they have each other's company in the meantime 🥰

Fancy doing something a little different this weekend? Why not book a tour at Pigs in the Wood? We still have availability on our 10.45am and 11.30am tours on Saturday 6th June and our 10.30am and 11.30am tours on Sunday 7th June. For only £8 each, you will be taken on a guided tour of our sanctuary by one of our experienced volunteers and find out all about the animals that call our wood their home. Our pigs just love a tummy tickle, and unlike other places, all our animals are safe from slaughter and will live out their whole lives with us. So why not head over to our website and book that tour? You know it makes sense!
