Silchester Players – from the Pantomime Director’s chair

We’re now just 11 days away from open auditions for our next panto, Goldilocks and the Three Bears (by ), and I’m really hoping lots of you will come along and have a go at a part—or even two!

We had some lovely feedback at the Silchester Summer Fayre and the Village Hall centenary celebration, where we enjoyed meeting people and sharing what the Silchester Players are all about.
We already have a fantastic bunch of people in the group, but there’s always room for new members—both on stage and behind the scenes.

So, whether you fancy getting involved or simply want to find out more about us, come along to the Village Hall on Tuesday 13th October from 19:30. We’ll be there from 19:15 setting up, so feel free to drop in for a chat at any point during the evening. Audition pieces and the character list are available on our website, SilchesterPlayers.Org, and copies will also be available on the night.

If you’d simply like to join in with the singing and dancing, please come along too. We try to be as inclusive as possible, so there’s no audition for ensemble members—just add your name to the list. We generally welcome participants aged 10 and over, with no upper age limit 😊.

So come and make my casting decisions wonderfully difficult by giving me plenty of choice! We’d love to see you there—happy auditioning!
