Further to our posting for Piper.

People are assuming that the owners should cope
citing cases of their own Dogs with Diabetes and how they managed. Which is commendable but walk a mile in their shoes before judging.
The owners are not in good health not young and there is a real risk when it comes to administering the insulin.
So if you can be kind instead of criticising, and understand how it’s the right decision to find a responsible Carer.
We are sorting it for now doing visits twice a day. A 45 min drive each way.

Making difficult decisions is something I personally have had to deal with and it’s heartbreaking.

At the end of the day the Dog must come first and as a Charity we will be there.

No one knows what tomorrow will bring to any of us.

If you can’t say anything good say nothing at all.

We are reaching out to find a very special foster home for this fabulous Westie.

Piper is 9 years old and has recently been diagnosed with Diabetes which involves injections twice daily. Her current owners feel overwhelmed due to health issues and cant give her the help she needs. Can you help

Prue the Labrador is no longer up for rehome.

She has been rehomed within the current Owners Family. Which obviously is a good outcome for her.

This little man is the last Daxi in Foster care of the ones we were asked to rehome still looking for his forever home.

He is 8 months old but needs that very special home as he is deaf. Lovely temperament fine with other Dogs and Children.

The Fosterer has said what a lovely Dog he is displays typical Puppy behaviour.

An update on this boy

He is now with a very experienced Frenchie owner and well known to the HDP Family.
This Dog is in good hands.

Someone has reached out for our help.
It’s an urgent situation with this lovely Dog he has been badly treated
The environment is totally unsuitable for him
and he needs moving urgently.
He is only 18 months old and what he needs is someone that is prepared to help him. Gain his trust as he has been badly let down.

He is ok with Cats and other Dogs. Not used to Children so this needs to be taken into account.

There is talk of imminent PTS. 😥
