I was getting bogged down in my to do list (moving house into house that needs alot of work). This weekend I focussed on my Ta Da list and I’m definitely making good progress. Ta Da!

Hi everyone and welcome to Joyful June!

This month’s theme is Emotions (look for what's good). Let’s take action to boost happiness locally by spreading ripples of positive emotions in our communities.

It was relatively recently that the power of pleasant emotional experiences — such as joy, awe and gratitude — was recognised. Evidence shows that positive emotions can ripple through our networks, helping us build psychological and social resources, like being more resilient, feeling more connected to others and being better at creative problem-solving.

We are a relaxed group coming together with a shared aim of spreading happiness. Come and join us at our pop up happy cafe in Saltcoats in the Community hub of Hope. We provide the tea, coffee and biscuits. Let’s have a blether and share ideas for Joyful June.

This month the theme is Joyful June where we explore the importance of feeling good. Numerous studies have shown that experiencing positive emotions, even just briefly, can result in greater creativity, attention, connection, trust, resilience and resourcefulness. Feeling positive emotions more regularly can help us survive and thrive.

Share with us any activities happening in North Ayrshire that would support us with our actions for Joyful June.
