And a proper introduction in Bindi, though still on her 7 days notice, we are confident she will be staying with us, we have her booked in for emergency spay so another baby WILL NOT but having babies! She will of course also be screened for Fiv&,Felv, microchipped and begin her course of vaccines so she too is ready for adoption.

Bindi is a little spicy 🌶️ Tom "The Albatross" Stoltman Luke "The Highland Oak" Stoltman. But loves her chicken & mackerel fillets and we will soon have her the best version of herself 🩷🐾🐈‍⬛

🖤 Dixie update… and it’s a big one 🖤

Dixie arrived with us back in October 2025 as a feral teenager…
and safe to say she came in with full attitude
👉 hissy
👉 shouty
👉 very much not interested in us

Fast forward to now…
For the last two nights 👇
👉 Dixie has chosen to come and hang out on the bed with us 🥹

No pressure.
No forcing.
Just her…working it all out for herself in her own time on her terms

Not instant cuddles.�Not overnight change.
👉 just her making her own choices.

From “don’t come near me”�to�👉 “actually… I’ll sit here with you”

🐾 Another undercat…
👉C4C top cat �learning that maybe, just maybe… humans aren’t so bad after all

“Having a blind cat is cruel.”
“You’d be better off putting him to sleep.”
We heard it all.

Well… this “cruel” little cat?
👉 Found his way to the cat flap
👉 Used it
👉 And didn’t stop there — he got himself up onto a sheltered ledge

So let’s be clear…
This is a cat who:
🖤 is learning
🖤 is adapting
🖤 is living

👉 Not suffering.
👉 Not struggling the way people assumed.

So no… we didn’t listen.
We trusted our judgement.
We gave him the chance he deserved.

And Irvin?
👉 He’s doing the rest.
👉Now time for Breakfast
👉and a cuddle

We have had a good first day of no cone- actually better than good, he’s been super brave. I have spent the day with him, and hes laid next to me on sofa, and loved all the attention, he had a wonderful brush removing all the dense under coat, he’s very greasy as he’s not been grooming himself for some time. But the moment that filled us with utter joy was this afternoon when he allowed me to gently caress his face with a wipe, and very soon he was pushing his little face into the cloth we didn’t want me to stop - we got through half a dozen wipes.

Once he felt like a million dollars he went for a little wander into the kitchen for food while I popped upstairs, and when I came down he had found the litter tray for a great big wee 🙂

All the other cats have been so fantastic with him - they defo know he’s no threat and that he feel pretty vulnerable.

He has his little camp for the night so he knows everything he needs is close by but at the same time he’s safe and free to wander and explore if he so wishes

So proud of him, it’s been a privilege to help him , but hopefully he realises he’s no longer an undercat but a top cat, a C4C top cat 🐈‍⬛

We are currently looking into having these adjustments made and are also hoping to connect with a fabricator who may be able to help us with the required modifications.

What better way to start a Monday than to get your cone off enjoy a brush and welcome a fuss.

Irvin is very relieved to be free of the cone which he has found very difficult but he’s free and now he can begin his new life.

I have brought him staight downstairs so he can takes his first steps when he’s ready… today is all about supporting him and giving lots of verbal reassurances to aid him in finding his way around.
