CALLING SALTAIRE RESIDENTS!
Would you like to take part in the 2026 Saltaire Living Advent Calendar? For our 2026 event, we are looking for:

RESIDENTS
We welcome children and adults, novices and artists, to come together, meet new friends and create a festive trail. You don’t need any experience but must be able to commit to designing and lighting up your window during December.

WINDOW HOSTS
To ‘host’ a window designed by one of our partners (note that there are limited hosting opportunities).

SALTAIRE SHOPS & BUSINESSES
Are also very welcome – the more the merrier! We all ask shops and businesses to light up their windows from 1 December.

HOW TO TAKE PART
To apply, complete our google form by Sunday 27 Sept. We will be in touch with all applicants in early October to confirm details and your opening date.

So sad to hear that the wonderful David Hockney has died.

Through his strong connections with Saltaire and Salts Mill, we've been honoured to include several of David's exhibitions in our recent Arts Trail programmes. We were also treated to Painting the Sky (pictured) in Roberts Park last year as part of Bradford 2025.

The Nature of Things by opened in gallery 3 at last weekend as part of Saltaire Arts Trail, and runs for the rest of the month. Open Wed - Sat 11am - 4pm.

We were delighted to welcome back Olivia Joy Flowers last weekend to the Arts Trail. Olivia's peony paper flowers workshops at Salts Mill we are sell out, and resulted in some stunning creations!

THANK YOU! A huge thanks to everyone who helped to make SALTAIRE ARTS TRAIL a fantastic event at the weekend!

> All of the exhibiting artists and makers who took part in the Open Village, Makers Fair, and the exhibition and workshop programme

> Salts Mill, Victoria Hall, Salts Works, Nina Hunter Gallery, Saltaire United Reformed Church, Saltaire Methodist Church and St Peter's Church for hosting exhibitions, events and workshops
> Our Saltaire Inspired trustees and freelance team for their hard work in producing the Arts Trail

SALTAIRE MAKERS FAIR at Saltaire Arts Trail: Showcasing over 70 makers from across the UK, sharing their fresh, contemporary art, craft and design carefully chosen for their quality and originality.

OPEN NOW at Victoria Hall
Today, Sun 3 May, 11am – 5pm
Tomorrow, Mon 4 May, 10am – 4pm
Entry £3 (under 16s free)

Level access to the lower ground floor is at the Lockwood Street side entrance, with a lift to the ground and first floors. Accessible toilets are located on the ground floor and first floor.

Ap pop up cafe is open on both days, run by the fabulous Caterpillar Catering, and our art tombola will run on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
