One of the most proactive clubs in angling clubs there has ever been in PDAA, have set up this brilliant site which is the start of some ACTUAL ACTION!!!

Members MUST be in possession of a 2026 Saltaire AA book before fishing our waters .
Please note we now have extended our canal fishing on the Leeds and Liverpool canal which now runs from Dowley Gap bottom lock, right through to Newlay top lock in Leeds . It was arranging this that caused the slight delay in getting yearbooks out.

​This is the reel deal! Just a friendly reminder that the Saltaire Angling Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) is happening tomorrow night (Wednesday)!
​We're hoping for a fin-tastic turnout! We encourage all members to attend to discuss important club matters, elect officers, and plan for the season ahead. Your input is reel-y vital and will help us net some great ideas!

Following yesterday's torrential rain, the level in Tong Park Dam was up around 4inch and has not fished as well as expected.
Leading the way with 8lb 11oz was committee man, Richard East, Matrix Halifax. This net of fish included a Tench of 4lb 6oz, with the rest of the weight being made up of 52 fish which were a mix of roach, perch and gudgeon.
2nd was Richard Jackson, Matrix Halifax, 2lb 2oz
3rd Nigel Storr. Matrix Halifax 1lb 1oz
4th Rodney Brooksbank, Saltaire, 13oz
All anglers, except the winner reported loosing numerous quality fish, all of which could have effected the final result.
There is another match next Sunday, please book on with Richard East.
