🎃🐾 JAMES & SCOTTY T’S HALLOWEEN APPEAL! 🐾🎃

James has been plotting mischief, but sensible big brother Scotty T has a better plan… let’s collect treats for the rescue! 🧡

This Halloween, the boys are asking you to help fill our virtual pumpkin with £200 by midnight on 31st October.

Could you donate £1, £2 or whatever you can spare? Every penny raised helps towards food, litter and veterinary care for the cats and kittens at Clay County Cat Care.

🎃🐾 TREATS, NOT TRICKS! 🐾🎃

This Halloween, help us fill our virtual pumpkin with kindness for the cats at Clay County Cat Care! 🧡

Our target is £200 by midnight on 31st October.

Our newest arrivals were found hiding in a garden after the horrible storm. Very skinny and frightened, three kittens are now safe with us, while we’re still working to bring their remaining sibling and mum to safety. Your support helps us care for little families just like theirs. ❤️

🐾 An update on the little tortie kitten found after the storm 🐾

This little girl was found hiding in someone’s garden with her siblings after the storm. Now that she’s safe with us, we’ve noticed a significant deformity in one of her back feet.

It looks as though she may have suffered an injury some time ago and the foot has healed at an unusual angle, with a noticeable bony swelling. We don’t yet know exactly what happened, but she isn’t currently using that foot.

She will be seen by the orthopaedic team at Beacon, who can assess her properly and advise us on what will give her the best chance of a comfortable life. We don’t yet know whether her foot can be treated or whether amputation may be necessary.

Her two siblings appear well, but they’ll also have a veterinary check this coming week. We’ll share more photos of our little tortie, including her leg, over the next few days and let you know what the orthopaedic team says. Then we can make a plan for her care.

Once again, we may need to ask our wonderful supporters for help with the cost of treatment. For now, we wanted to keep you updated and thank you for caring about this little family. ❤️🐾

🐾 Three safe, two still to bring to safety… ❤️

Yesterday, a little ginger and white kitten and a little tortie came into our care after being found hiding in someone’s garden following that horrible storm. Today, their tabby and white sister was safely trapped and reunited with them here at Clay County Cat Care.

All three are very, very skinny. 💔 We’re concerned this little family may have been abandoned. Although the kittens are nervous, they were purring within just ten minutes of sitting on my lap. Their response to affection suggests they have known human kindness before.

We still have one more kitten to catch — a little grey and white we believe is a boy — along with their mum. We’ll keep working to bring them both to safety.

The lovely lady who found them has offered Mum a home. Once Mum has been safely caught and neutered, she will return to the finder to be cared for. ❤️

The four kittens will stay with us while they gain strength and receive the care they need. They will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before becoming available for adoption in pairs, so each has a sibling by their side.

For these three, there’s finally warmth, food, a soft bed and a chance to feel safe. Now let’s get the rest of their little family safely inside. 🐾❤️

🐾 Could you spare 50p a month to help a cat in need? 🐾

Here at Clay County Cat Care, we have 10,000 followers. If every follower donated just 50p a month, together that would raise £5,000 every single month to help care for our rescue cats. ❤️

That’s £6 a year per person, but together it could make a massive difference — helping pay for food, litter, veterinary treatment and a safe place for cats who have nowhere else to go.

It’s easy to think, “My little donation won’t make a difference.” But it does. Small, regular donations add up and help us plan for the care our cats depend on.

We know that even 50p isn’t spare money for everyone, and there is no pressure to give. You can still make a difference for free:

🐾 THE ADVENTURES OF JAMES & SCOTTY T 🐾
Episode 8: Sleeping on the Evidence 🧻😂

Featuring special guests… Pico and Parker! 🐾💙

James has been caught beside a toilet roll, with his friends Pico and Parker keeping him company.

In our imaginary kitten conversation, Scotty T has a few questions…

Scotty T: “James. Why is there a toilet roll in the bed?”

James: “We’re having a sleepover.”

Scotty T: “And the toilet roll?”

James: “Also invited.”

Scotty T: “Who brought it?”

James: “Nobody’s answering questions without a cuddle.”

Pico and Parker remained suspiciously quiet. Clearly, this friendship came with a strict no telling policy. 😂

Scotty T: “There are three of you. Somebody must know something.”

James: “We know we’re tired.”

Scotty T: “From doing what?”

James: “Quality control. You taught me yourself.” 👀🧻

With that, James stretched out his little white paw and settled down beside his friends.

Three sleepy kittens.
One toilet roll.
No reliable witnesses. 😂💙

🎉🐾 I’m finally back at work on reduced hours, but we urgently need your help. 🐾🎉

After taking time away to recover from recent health issues, I’m gradually returning to caring for the cats at Clay County Cat Care. Getting back to work means so much to me, and I’m determined to keep fighting for all the cats who desperately need our help right now.

During my absence, several poorly cats came into our care needing urgent veterinary treatment and support. Those costs have quickly added up, and we now have £2,500 to pay within the next seven days.

This deadline is fast approaching, and we cannot meet it without your help. Please take action today if you can:

* Make a one-off donation now towards our vet bill.
* Set up a regular donation or standing order, even if it’s just £1 a month.
* Share this appeal immediately with your friends, family and social media contacts.

Every pound can help provide essential treatment, comfort and a better chance of life for cats in need. Even a small regular gift helps us plan ahead and continue supporting cats who have nowhere else to turn.

Episode 7: It’s in the Bag! 🛍️😂

Scotty T has found himself a little hideaway. In our imaginary kitten world, he’s calling it his private office.

Unfortunately, James has discovered the address…

James: “Scotty? Why are you in a bag?”

Scotty T: “I needed somewhere quiet.”

James: “Can I come in?”

Scotty T: “That rather defeats the purpose.”

James: “I can be quiet.”

Scotty T: “You’ve never tried.”

James: “Well, I need somewhere to practise.” 😂

Scotty explained that entry was strictly by appointment.

James: “Lovely. Book me in.”

Scotty T: “What for?”

James: “A cuddle and a discussion about dinner.”

Scotty T: “We’ve just eaten.”

James: “Then we’re already behind on planning the next one.” 👀🐾

Scotty is now considering moving offices. James has offered to help.
