This has been a busy month
Thanks to all who support the charity shop and monthly dances we have been able to support three local people plus support a couple of items in Higham Ferris we are now moving forward to support a young family with a child in need
So thank you please continue to follow the shop to see the bargains first

The swivel club charity are so happy to provide this specialist electric chair for a lovey 29 year old lady her words are this has given me back a life
Once again thank you to all who support us in buying donating attending the dances with out you this would not be possible

Some events for your 2026 Diary 📔

🎄Tuesday 23rd December from 6:30pm is where we are hoping to put U in the community for this special evening of Christmas Carolling at the precinct🎄

Last year we had a spontaneous moment of the Whitefriars Church Choir who came together in the precinct to spead some Christmas joy through song and to watch all of the neighbours, Co-op shoppers, Take away collectors and people having a Christmas Drink in the The Grape & Grain come across to join in was simply heart warming (possibly even the glimmer of hope that the precinct could be great once again)

This year we have added a Christmas Hamper Draw organised by Janick salon, some wholesome mince pies 🥧 courtesy of The Bakehouse and Mulled Wine to wash it down from our newest members watering hole that will be celebrating its first year open #🍷

We would love to see you come and support and to see all the hard work that’s already been put in by MCGFM to tidy the landscape.

When we say ‘see’ we should all be able to appreciate the fantastic new lighting from NRG UK Group Limited that will make the shops more appealing in the evening and of course safer reducing the temptation of criminal activities. 💡
