⚽🏏 Become a Friend of ABSA!

Did you know it costs £25,000 a year just to maintain our pitches and grounds?
We raise this every year principally through fundraising and club fees. On top of this we are sourcing funding for the new Clubhouse.

That's why we're launching Friends of ABSA, a simple way for everyone in Abbots Bromley to support village sport from just £5 a month.

Your monthly gift helps us:
✅ Care for the pitches, courts and grounds
✅ Grow sport for juniors, girls, women and adults
✅ Give the village a place to meet before and after the game
✅ Help us to set up a new Youth Club at the Grounds giving our youngsters somewhere to go

As a Friend of ABSA you'll get:
💚 Your name on our Friends board
💚 Updates on what your gift achieves
💚 First to hear about events
💚 A first look at the clubhouse plans

💷 £5 a month = £60 a year, or £75 with Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, at no extra cost to you.

🌟 End of Season Sporting Sunday 🌟

What an absolutely brilliant day! ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our End of Season Sporting Sunday — the sun came out, the atmosphere was electric, and smiles were everywhere! Whether you were battling it out on the football pitch, taking part in the netball friendly, or watching the legendary Parents v Kids cricket (mainly dads with a few Mums and Grandads thrown in for good measure! 🏏😄), it was a day to remember.

A massive shout out to the people who made it all possible behind the scenes:

⚽ Terry & the volunteers — keeping everyone refreshed on the bar
🔥 Susan, Ed & the Mayman family — smashing it on the BBQ and arranging the netball
🚗 Glen — keeping everything running smoothly in the car park

And a huge thank you to our wonderful local clubs for getting involved and bringing the competitive spirit! 🏆

🏏 Abbots Bromley Cricket Club
🏏 Abbots Bromley Junior Cricket Club
⚽ Abbots Bromley Football Club
👦 Abbots Bromley Junior Football Club
👦 Uttoxeter Town Junior Football Club

These events simply don't happen without incredible teamwork, and this was the perfect send-off to a super busy summer here at ABSA! 🙌

📅 But don't put your boots away just yet! Football continues throughout Autumn and Winter — check our fixtures list on the website for all the latest dates. And Sporting PB will be continuing their training and sporting sessions too!
