Last week, our crew and Airdesk team completed two incubator transfers in one day, with a parent travelling on both missions. Both flights were completed with the Clinical Partner Team Embrace.

The first mission saw a patient and their parent transferred to Scarborough General Hospital in just 18 minutes. By road, this journey would have taken 1 hour 24 minutes.

Later the same day, our crew and Airdesk team transferred another patient and their parent to Harrogate District Hospital in just 33 minutes. By road, that journey would have taken 1 hour 49 minutes.

Two missions like this show just how important speed, skill and teamwork are when every minute matters. 💚

Tom is one of our NCAA Crew Members, and Harry’s story is one that really resonates with him. Having previously worked in paediatric critical care transport at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity, Tom knows just how important specialist paediatric transfer can be 💚

Behind every mission is a child, a family and a future that can change in an instant. Your support helps us reach the next baby or child who needs us most.

Whether they're taking part for a personal reason, in memory of a loved one, or simply to make a difference, every participant is helping us continue our lifechanging work.

We'd like to wish everyone taking part the very best of luck and thank them for choosing to support our charity 💚

Hannah and baby Isabella’s story is a powerful reminder of why our service matters. Hannah was having a normal pregnancy when she was involved in a road traffic collision, and soon after, baby Isabella was born prematurely at just 28 weeks and needed urgent specialist neonatal care 💚

After time in NICU in Bristol, Isabella was flown back closer to home so she could be reunited with her family more quickly. Thanks to the National Children's Air Ambulance and the specialist neonatal team, Hannah was able to stay close to her daughter throughout the journey home.
