SignHealth will deliver two separate sessions for young people aged 8–17 years who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind, Cochlear Implant users, or users of other hearing devices:

Monday 29th June – Internet Safety and Harm

Monday 6th July – Taking Care of Your Wellbeing

These sessions aim to provide valuable information, guidance, and support in an accessible environment for young people with hearing loss.

As we celebrate National Volunteers' Week, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing Barnardo's volunteers.
This week, we were delighted to welcome over 40 volunteers to a special celebration event, where we enjoyed a buffet, presented certificates in recognition of their dedication, and held a free raffle as a small token of our appreciation.
While not everyone was able to join us, this celebration was for every single volunteer who gives their time, energy, and commitment to support Barnardo's and the children, young people, and families we serve.
Your kindness, compassion, and hard work make a real difference every day. Whether you volunteer in our shops, support our services, help at events, or contribute in countless other ways, your efforts are truly valued and appreciated.
Thank you for everything you do. We are incredibly proud to have such a dedicated and inspiring team of volunteers.

VOLUNTEERS WEEK 1st-7th JUNE 2026
A huge thank you to our colleagues at Barnardo's Quinton Donation Centre for their generous donation of gifts for our free raffle, helping us make our volunteer appreciation event even more special.
We would also like to thank Buffet Express for their support in providing a discounted buffet for our volunteers, ensuring everyone could enjoy a well-deserved treat.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Barnardo's staff members who kindly contributed funds towards the purchase of additional raffle prizes. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.
Our volunteers give so much of their time and energy, and thanks to the kindness of our supporters and colleagues, we were able to show our appreciation and celebrate their valuable contribution.
Thank you all for helping make the event such a success! 💚
