As a charity, Encore is governed by a board of voluntary trustees who provide support and guidance to the staff team and take on a range of responsibilities associated with being a trustee.

We've had two absolutely fantastic evenings this week with our Encore Youth Music concerts. Congratulations to all the children and young people who performed, you were amazing! A massive thank you to the tutors and parents/carers who have supported them too. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as we’ll be putting up pictures and video clips from the concerts.

If you are a young musician who isn’t part of Encore Youth Music, you will get a taste of what goes on; registration for 2026-27 will open in June so keep an eye out for that too.

But the performances aren’t over yet, this Sunday evening (3rd May) sees our Livewire groups performing at Hereford Welsh Social Club. Entry is free (donations always welcome!) so come along and enjoy some live music!

We've got our Encore Youth Music concerts next week! Our groups have been rehearsing all term and are ready to perform to you.

On Tuesday 28th April we've got performances from Junior Strings, Intermediate Strings and Herefordshire Youth Orchestra. On Wednesday 29th April, it will be the turn of Junior Concert Band, Intermediate Concert Band and Herefordshire Youth Concert Band.

Both concerts start at 7:00pm and are taking place at The Courtyard, Hereford. Entry is £8.00 per person and tickets are available from The Courtyard website so come along and enjoy an evening of music!

We are looking to recruit a new Whole Class Ensemble Tuition (WCET) Tutor to join our team, starting September 2026.

Our WCET team currently delivers WCET (known as Tune-In!) tuition throughout the county on a variety of instruments. We welcome applications from instrumental tutors of any discipline or classroom music teachers.
