We’re incredibly excited to introduce Growing Together, a new Early Years programme from Evolution Impact Initiative CIC, proudly supported by BBC Children in Need.

Growing Together is a 3 year programme created for children aged 0–5 and their parents and carers across Medway.

It’s more than just activities. We’re creating a welcoming space where children can:

🧸 Play and explore
🎨 Create and express themselves
💬 Build confidence and communication
❤️ Strengthen relationships
🌱 Feel connected, included and valued

And for parents and carers, it’s an opportunity to meet other families, learn together, share experiences and help shape the programme.

🌟 Our first session

We’re inviting families to join us for our very first Growing Together session:

📅 Saturday 17 October 2026
⏰ 12:00– 2:00pm
📍 The Sunlight Centre, 105 Richmond Road, Gillingham, ME7 1LX

The first session will be a relaxed introduction to the programme. You’ll have the opportunity to meet our team, meet other families, let your little ones play and explore, take part in some fun activities and find out what we have planned.

Most importantly, we want to hear from you.

We’ll be working with families to help shape the programme and decide what activities, workshops and experiences we should offer over the coming months.

What happens after the first session?

Growing Together sessions will take place every fortnight, giving families regular opportunities to come together, learn, play and build connections.

The programme will run for 3 years, supported by BBC Children in Need.

You can register your family and create your own parent/carer account on our website, where you’ll be able to access programme information and keep up to date with upcoming sessions.

BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE 2026 ❤️

What started as an idea to support local families became a day filled with smiles, excitement and community spirit.

This year, Evolution Impact Initiative CIC came together with local people, businesses, volunteers and supporters to help children across Medway get ready for the new school year.

Last year, we supported 114 children.

This year, we set ourselves a bigger goal: 500 children.

Together, we helped over 350 children. ❤️

And we couldn’t have done it without you.

From school uniforms and stationery to shoes, bags and essential supplies, every donation helped a child start school feeling more confident, prepared and included.

Because sometimes, a school bag is more than a school bag.

It’s confidence.
It’s opportunity.
It’s a fresh start.
It’s knowing that your community cares.

Local people helping local needs. 🤝

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, partner, business and member of our community who helped make this possible.

Get ready for a colourful, messy and creative afternoon! 💚💜🩷

Join us on Saturday 26 September 2026 for a fun DIY Slime Making Workshop for children aged 5–10!

Children will get to make, mix and customise their very own slime using different colours and textures, then take their creation home!

A fun, hands on activity designed to encourage creativity, confidence, imagination and social interaction, all in a safe and welcoming environment.

One year ago, Evolution Impact Initiative was just an idea.

A conversation.
A vision.
A belief that together, we could make a difference.

Last weekend, that vision came to life. 💙💚

Evolution Fest 2026 wasn’t just about celebrating our first anniversary. It was about celebrating our community.

From children laughing and families making memories, to volunteers giving their time, sponsors believing in our mission, vendors bringing the event to life, Dj’s creating an incredible atmosphere, and every single person who came along…

We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Medway Douglas Hamandishe, Councillor Nina Gurung (Mayor 2023–2024) and Jo Holmes, Deputy Clerk Lieutenancy, Your support means so much to us and to the community we serve.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and the entire Evolution Impact Initiative team. ❤️

People only see the event, but they don’t always see the months of planning, the late nights, the meetings, the phone calls, the challenges and the sacrifices that happen behind the scenes. Every single member of our team gave their all, and we couldn’t be prouder.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE 2026 IS HERE! 💙

No child should have to start the school year feeling unprepared.

Last year, with just two weeks of planning and the incredible support of our community, we helped 114 children across Medway start school with confidence.

This year, we’re aiming even higher.

🎯 Our goal is to support 500 children with:
👕 School Uniforms
👟 School Shoes
🎒 School Bags
✏️ Essential Stationery

Whether you can donate one item, make a financial contribution, or simply share this post, every act of kindness brings us one step closer to helping another child.

What an amazing day at Little Garden Makers! 🏡🌱

Our young gardeners got creative, planted grass seeds, decorated their houses and built their very own mini gardens to take home and grow.

It was wonderful to see so much imagination, creativity and teamwork throughout the session.

Thank you to all the children and families who joined us – we can’t wait to see your gardens growing over the coming weeks! 💚
