The chief here I've been busting my balls off lately trying to get Disability In Music working alongside some great companies and individuals that either face disability issues themselves or help the disabled, but there are so many disgusting out for their own gain social media obsessed people within who are not disabled and just want clout to show off, or disabled people who think they are above every other disabled person

It gets frustrating and tedious, but I am a disabled person, running a company to better the concert going experience for anyone with any disability whether physical or mental, no discrimination, working together for the better and educating the non disabled people how to help, treat us better and for venues to know the needs and how to be able to cater for them sufficiently

I'll get there, even if I am bloody, broken, lied about, discriminated against or even put of pocket

Fantastic stuff from Sarcoma Fest in memory of Colin Tyler and raising money for Sarcoma UK , Disability In Music will hopefully be back next year and we hope they finally book Heavy Mass Drive, Smouldering Tomb and Blunt Knife Castration

We are extremely pleased and honoured to announce that SF XII has raised £2.5k for Sarcoma UK.

We cannot do this without everyone involved. So, let’s do it all again next year!

🔥 Hot off the press, we’re super excited to announce that (as detailed in the attached poster) SF XIII will be held on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd October 2027! Mark it in your diaries 🔥

We are already booking bands and will make some announcements in due course.

To all at Sarcoma Fest, the staff, the promoters, the bands, the fans, thanks for an amazing time, seeing how beautifully Colin Tyler was honoured, remembered and loved was very touching and emotional

To everyone who came and spoke to the chief about Disability In Music, thank you for being open minded, honest and also extremely supportive, it's made us realise we need to keep fighting the good fight

Fingers crossed a lot of money was raised for Sarcoma UK and Disability In Music plans on coming back in 2027, bigger, better, more prepared and once our chief Ben Gillie has recovered 😆 F**K CANCER!!!

Disability In Music is very proud to be sponsoring Sarcoma Fest this weekend

Honouring the absolute legend that was Colin Tyler, we at Disability In Music all feel everyone could benefit from being a bit more like Colin

He defied the odds, kept on fighting everyday through losing his arm and his cancer, was always kind, considerate, welcoming, open minded and a loving man, husband and father, he never let disability stop him from doing what he loved, he also was one of the most diehard metalheads going

We all miss him dearly, so whether you are attending or not, raise a drink or your metal horns in his memory and for those still battling through disability and cancers, and also to everyone else who is no longer with us, we aim to make you proud

So let's enjoy the music, be kind to each other, have an amazing time, raise a tonne of cash for Sarcoma UK and shout as loud as you possibly can F**K CANCER!!!

Gotta say as nice as it was to sit down with other companies that want to make concerts, festivals, comedy nights, clubs and theatre more accommodating and accessible to people with disability needs, the sheer ignorance, rudeness and archaic attitudes of hosts, managers, security and staff for these places towards disabled people shocked and appalled us all, but we will keep on fighting to make things better

Important meeting in London on Friday with various groups involved with the safety of concert goers (things like disability access, sound levels, crowd control, medication needs, food and drink etc) and sitting with various venue, club and festival owners, government officials and lawyers in order to improve things in the UK

Disability In Music is sitting down with a big group of music industry insiders this week to talk about all sorts of problems behind the scenes that need looking at and fixing (the likes of sexual abuse, disability discrimination, abuse of power, drug and alcohol issues, fraud etc)

We are determined to get rid of the wronguns in the industry and make things better for everyone, we may face s**t, anger and hatred for exposing the bad influences, but safety is a priority
